Associação Rendas do Amanhã

Founded in 2008, in the town of Bananal, state of São Paulo (Brazil), Associação Rendas do Amanhã is a philanthropic project aiming to generate income for people left out of the economic mainstream. Wholly funded by the private sector, the project makes it possible the production of handcrafted work, offering guidance for the design of the items and helping their sale in the market.

More than seventy craftswomen/men are involved in the project today, earning a relevant portion of their living through the production and sale of beautiful works in crochet and embroidery both hand maded, some of which have already won prestigious showcases in Brazil, England, France and Japan. Besides providing for income generation, the organization also promotes the ideas of citizenship, social inclusion and integration among its members, through the values of the work.
